Dancing queen, you called?

Back in February, shortly after my EP release (remember that? it felt like a year ago!), I choreographed 2 dances for the KC flosspunk band True Lions! They asked me to choreograph two 30 second dances for their video for their song “Escape Room”. Can we say fun melodic 90’s guitar song? Yes we can! This was a delight to do and it made me exercise in the bleakest of winters. Also the whole Lion crew were fun, focused, and sizzling with good energy. I even used “team” metaphors for movement and wore a soccer jersey. Making a dance with an underlying referee /sports theme is actually the closest I will ever get to sports, so let’s all enjoy this. Now I want to choreograph MORE big numbers! Here are the two dance clips, and the full video.

Ok ANOTHER DANCE NUGGET that saw the light of day this month was the Sparkle Motion Dance That Tracy Flowers and I did for “Notorious”….part of the Donnie Darko songs that Chase the Bunnyman did for Halloween 2019 (with Don Dawn at that show) . In lieu of doing an in-person show in 2020 - they made a live performance film of the songs. Which meant Tracy and I got the call to show up at Element Studios and dance in our silver outfits. We yelled “Hell Yes!” and this is what happened.
